OPEN HOUSE Wednesday January 25th
We invite our Fourteen Holy Helpers Parish Family to join us at our Open House this coming Wednesday, January 25th, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Each parishioner is such an important and appreciated part of Fourteen Holy Helpers School, and this is one of our opportunities to say “thank you” for all you do to support and sustain us! Come visit the beautiful PreKindergarten through Grade 8 classrooms, see the work of the children, and enjoy hospitality in our cafeteria! As an added treat, we will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in the Parish Hall — a wonderful place to visit, filled with a treasure trove of books, activities, and knick-knacks for all levels of readers!

Catholic Schools Week follows on the heels of our Open House with the theme of Faith. Academics. Service.
We’ll be kicking off the week on Friday, January 27th, with a special Mass of Thanksgiving for our parents and our Parish Family, who make Catholic education possible at Fourteen Holy Helpers School. The following week will be a celebration of academics with Heritage Day, and of faith and service with Valentine crafts for our friends in local nursing homes, food collection to enhance our Fourteen Holy Helpers Food Pantry, and sock/mitten/hat collection for the City Mission and St. Luke’s.
GIFT SHOPPING IDEAS with the T.R.I.P. PROGRAM
The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P) is a fundraising program that provides rebates to Fourteen Holy Helpers School and to YOU, to be used for tuition reduction. By purchasing gift cards to be used at a variety of vendors, you can make a HUGE difference in tuition costs and help our school, all at the same time! EDUCATION CITY
We have just licensed Education City, which is a remedial and enrichment program for use by teachers and students. Students will have 24/7 access to the games and challenges that are linked to NYS Common Core Standards, and teachers will be using the resources from Education City in their classrooms.

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS
The HSA is kicking off our September fundraising with the ENTERTAINMENT BOOK SALE. The 2012 edition of ENTERTAINMENT includes great deals on casual and family dining, fast food and carry-out, entertainment and sports, travel and hotels, and discount cards on retail services. Each book also includes an additional $30 in extra savings bonus cards! At $30 per book, we hope you’ll find that this fundraiser more than pays for itself!
